In April 2008, Jared accepted the position as singles and outreach pastor at Heritage. Having grown up at Heritage, Jared is thrilled to be back serving and ministering in his home church. Jared graduated from Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida in May of 2005. While in college, Jared worked on staff at Lifepoint Church in Tampa, Florida from September 2003 thru May 2005. After finishing his undergrad, Jared attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Jared will receive his Masters of Divinity later this year.
In June of this year, Jared will marry his girlfriend of several years, Amanda. Jared and Amanda met at college and have been dating long distance for over three years. Needless to say, Jared is extremely excited for the long distance to be ending soon!
Jared’s desire is to make the singles ministry at Heritage a relevant place where single adults can connect with one another in healthy relationships while serving and reaching our community for Christ. When away from the office, you can find Jared reading at a local coffee shop, spending time with his family and friends, and watching college football on Saturday afternoons.
