HBC Players is the Drama Ministry at Heritage!
The team meets twice a month on Saturdays 9am till noon for workshops to improve our skills, rehearsals for that month’s drama, and fellowship. The team also helps organize and perform the Easter and Christmas programs with the choir and orchestra.
We purpose to INSPIRE the audience by:
- Lifting up the name of Jesus
- Celebrating God’s glory and grace
- Nourishing their spirits
We purpose to CHALLENGE the audience by:
- Raising questions they need to answer within
- Moving them to take an action or make a change
Opportunities with the HBC Players:
Actors – we are always looking for more actors of any age
Writers – for monthly dramas
Makeup Artists – straight makeup and the art of making people look old, fat, thin, and much more
Keyboard players – to incorporate music and sound effects in dramas as needed
Builders – work with wood and styrofoam
Painters – complete and decorate the wood and styrofoam sets
Stage Manager & Backstage Crew – for Easter and Christmas programs
