Each week a small group of men meet together to discover what the Bible has to say about our role as leaders in the home and the community. We meet on Tuesdays at 10:15 in the conference room across from the library. This week we began a new and exciting study entitled "Instruments in the Redeemer's Hands" by Paul David Tripp Here is what the publisher says about the book..."People in need of change, helping people in need of change." We might be relieved if God placed our sanctification only in the hands of trained professionals, but that is not his plan. Instead, through the ministry of every part of the body, the whole church will mature in Christ. Paul David Tripp helps us discover where change is needed in our own lives and the lives of others. Following the example of Jesus, Tripp reveals how to get to know people, and how to lovingly speak truth to them. from the publisher. We would love to see this group grow. Men, we would love to have you come and be a part of this study with us.
This weekend we will revisit the idea of Mission(s). Our God, the one true and living God has a mission. He is glorifying Himself through reclamation of HIS creation and we all have a part in that mission. We are all saved to serve in that mission. We have diverse roles, but the goal is the same, to seek and save the lost. Are we really doing our part? This weekend we will hear from two choice servants who have answered that call and what God has chosen to do through them. You won't want to miss a minute of this weekends activities, from the message brought in the morning by Pastor Larry to the presentations in the evening when we will hear from David Carrel missionary to Brazil and Matias Mojica Jr. missionary to Bolivia.
